Dosmil Dose :D

Twenty-twelve :)

"The old give way to the young.
New thoughts sprout from fertile ground.
While the New Year beckons us with many promises, don't forget to give the old year its due. Learn from past mistakes and carry the lessons of time with you."

Back in December, I've been able to enjoy my vacation as I went to the Land of the Rising Sun- Japan. And enjoyed christmas vacation as well at home, with my family of course.

Anyway, my New Year was, the same as ever, boring, as anyone would say when I told them what I just did.

After the midnight mass, we went home, ate the media noche and welcomed the new year SLEEPING. Uh-huh, yeah, we just slept it over. No fireworks, no firecrackers, even those noisy trumpets and the likes. None of it. Anyway, that's what we always do every New Year. hahaha. Boring, right?

But on the New Year's Day, I had a lot more fun.
I absolutely have no plans for that day, however, my batchmates way back in Elementary told me that they are going to the beach, and they invited me to join them. As I've mentioned, Im very free on that day, and so, without hesitation, I decided to hop in, to have fun and so I did.

With Christian Gino, one of my batchmates who was also an AFSer.

After a few days, my aunt from Canada went home after four years of working abroad, she said she'll be just around in a month and then go back to Canada again, and so, we didn't waste any time and went strolling around the town as much as we could :)

Solijon Family: Mga buchogs! hahaha

During Father Frank's Bday Celebration @ Cannery, Polomolok, S.C.
On the 21st of January, we had two major celebrations in the family.

First, was the wedding of my cousin, Ate Ivy, wherein I am one of the bride's maid.

And the next one was the 75th Birthday of my dear Lola Nene Poncardas  ♥
The family prepared a surprise birthday party for Lola.

The next day, we celebrated the birthday of Papa at home :)
And the following week I had my examination for the 3rd grading.

This is how I welcomed the year of the water dragon.
So much fun!
#It's more fun here in Philippines!
